Each week I will be highlighting a critical action you may need to address to avoid paying too much tax or falling foul of the HMRC penalty regime. Let me know if there are any particulay subjects you want us to include.

This week I have a simple message.

There is no Covid 19 extension to the filing deadline for tax returns, so they need to be submitted by midnight on 31 January. Are there any actions that you need to take? Remember, there is always a rush at the end of the January and we expect this year to be worse. Act now!
